Seniors Match Report: Boronia v Chirnside Park

Today the Hawker played the Chirnside Park Football Club, a club that had not won a game this season and in the past couple of weeks has lost a number of senior players.

No one wants to see a side win by 200+ points but from a positive point of view the Hawker never took the foot off the throat of their opposition and the opposition never stopped trying from the first bounce to the final siren.  The game was played in good spirits by both sides all day.  With the Hawker having 13 individual goal kickers and obviously a very good team performance, this was the Hawkers’ biggest win for some time with The Hawker running out winners by 210 points.

I would like to highlight Jess Bolton as it was fitting to see the local champ celebrate his 150th for the Hawker in style.  Bolts in my opinion is in the top two players to play for the Hawker over the past fifteen years.  Two time Bob Henry Best & Fairest winner & runner up a number of times; five time team of the year for EFL 3rd division.  Jess also played a couple of seasons for Casey and East Burwood in his early days which would see his senior game tally up over 220 games. Jess is a long time Boronia Hawker coming through our junior program. He has coached a number of his team mates in juniors a couple of years ago to help align our Junior / Senior pathways.  This alignment forms the building blocks to the Club’s foundation to build sustained prosperity & success in the future.

Well Done Bolts, A great Hawker.

17 rounds down 1 to go, then off to the finals for the first time in a couple of years, the hard work starts this week against the top side.

D Squad Match Report: Boronia v Chirnside Park

Our last home game for the season and the weather looked threatening early.  We knew our opponents were struggling and a late night call confirmed they were short on numbers and not sure if they could field a full side.  Never an ideal situation, especially two games out from finals.  However we prepared well and hoped they could field a full team.  With Johnno a late elevation to the seniors it made way for another who was to miss this game.

We warmed up well and took the field – we were ready to play.  Our opponents had indeed put together a full squad made up of a few regulars, some under nineteens and eight vets, so we could play.

The game started and it was immediately evident that we would win the ball and use it well from the first ball up.  With both our dominant ruckmen missing this week it was up to J Stamatakos and Murra to do the work in the middle.

We cleared and goaled quickly and that would be the tone for the game.  We won every position on the ground for the game and switched well, gained well needed confidence and kicked a big score.  The highlight for the coaches was not necessarily the score or the skill level.  It was the respect we gave our opponents, who as a club are obviously struggling with depth and experienced personal. Games such as these could turn into a blood bath if handled the wrong way by the dominant team, but our young men were respectful and our opponents, although failing to kick a major, could have a laugh and never once were aggressive.  I thank Chirnside Park for putting a team on the field, playing in the spirit in which the game should be played, and enjoying a kick or two.

We now prepare for Ringwood and finals.  We will now need to win every game we play to get to the final game in September.  We are nearly back to full strength and with players coming back to our senior team, we will get even stronger.  Bring on Finals Footy.

Netball Reports: Last Round for Premier Division and Two Finals!

HAWKS: Round 15 – Final Round of the season
Boronia Hawks 57 def by Scoresby Swoopers 60 (Julia Rush 51, Sharmini Philp 4, Emily Barrie 2)

An intense game against Scoresby Swoopers tonight!  We started the game at full throttle and were 5 up in the first few minutes, before things levelled out and it was pretty much neck and neck for the first half.  Unfortunately a few dodgie umpire calls in the third quarter, rattled us and allowed Scoresby to take a massive 10 goal lead.  Scoresby were actually a very nice team to play and they themselves questioned the umpires decision… none the less, we dropped our heads and allowed the scores to blow out.

After regrouping at 3/4 time the girls went back on with a mission to turn things around.  The margin got to 12 at one point before the girls started fighting back. We got to within 3 with no time left on the clock and walked away with a loss 57-60.  All in all, a bloody good effort from Hawkss. I’m sure we will see this team again come finals.

Most of our team played for Boronia Gold in Division 1 2017, so should be congratulated for a fantastic season finishing top 4 in Premier League 2018.  Looking forward to seeing what this team can do next week as we head into finals.

Excellent game to Julia who scored 51 goals. Julia scored high on the seasons highest goal scores getting 358 goals in only 8 games.  That’s an average of 45 a game. I’m sure a full playing season would have secured her spot as highest goal scorer!!!

GOLD Semi Final 1 (Elimination)
Boronia Gold 31 def by Mulgrave Red 32 (Sarah Grigg 18, Jess Hall 13)

Our Semi final against Mulgrave was an intense game. They came at us not with skill but with unfair tactics. 1st quarter saw us down by 2 goals and it was much the same for the 2nd quarter.

Ti copped the bulk of Mulgrave’s undisciplined game from a foul mouth and physical contact from her opponent .  All credit to Ti, we didn’t realise the extent of it until later that night with the bruising across her hip.  She kept calm and continued to put the pressure on which only rattled her opponent more.

3rd quarter they ran away with the lead and we were now down by 5.  Our girls kept their cool and pushed hard to come back and even the score. Janae and Inga playing so well in defence together, they put the pressure on and when the goalers missed they were on the rebounds and let’s not forget the Intercepts.
Ti was outstanding in WD.  She wasn’t given an easy task and she kept her cool and made her player work for every pass.  Stacey was on fire in C with many turnovers and always there for the pass.  Chanelle also strong in WA, such a reliable player with accurate passing into the ring and many turnovers.  Casey made great position in WA too.  Jess works hard in GA and is always available all the way down into the goals shooting 13 of the goals.
Sarah in GS constantly reoffering position and there for rebounds if needed, shooting 18 of the goals.

With only a minute left Mulgrave scored and ran the clock down.  Our team started the season never having played together before and to go on and fight our way into the finals is a huge achievement.  I’m proud to be a part of Boronia Football Netball Club and so proud of how our team handled themselves on court.  Final score 31-32.

BROWN Semi Final 2 (Double Chance)
Brown 22 def by Upper Ferntree Gully Red 25 (Dani Kemp 13, Caitlin Yann 9)

Unfortunately Boronia Brown were defeated in the Semi Final on Friday.  Luckily after finishing on top of the ladder we will have a second chance this week against Glen Waverley Hawks Blue.

The Semi Final was a very tough game with a strong opposition and nerves affecting our players.  The girls should not be disappointed in our efforts as they was the toughest opponent all season.  We fought hard and many opportunities were won defensively during the game, but unfortunately we were unable to convert all of these to the scoreboard.

We are focusing on this week and learning from this loss as a stepping stone towards the Grand Final.  Fingers crossed for us this week and it would be great for everyone available to come and cheer us on!  Big crowds and cheering are very motivating/intimidating!  #getaroundthebrown

D Squad Match Report: Boronia v Warrandyte

Another great day for footy as we arrived at Warrandyte full of confidence and ready to get back on the winners list again. With five missing out at selection and despite losing Dylan Dower with a very well deserved call up to the seniors, we played our strongest list in almost five six weeks.

With plenty of senior experience in the team a solid start was on the cards, we kicked off well but the Bloods had bought plenty of aggression to the game and we quickly wore the brunt of some pretty crude tackling.  We lacked desire to put our heads and bodies over the ball with a few exceptions such as Allen, Castersen and Heuston.  The ruck was sorted with our talls but we kept the inner circle too small and space was difficult to find, once we did get out the pressure was on our ball carriers and we struggled to be accurate by hand and foot.  Our opponents had got a sniff early and were definitely up and about.  These games can often be dangerous as our opponents had nothing to lose and everything to gain.

The second quarter was much the same as the first and the ball moved from one end to the other with little to no skill by either team: it was just plain ugly footy. With the loss of Wrighty to a back injury Carro had to do the bulk of the ruck work on his own.  We were getting well beaten by the Bloods number 22 and would find out after the game he would front up again for the seniors.   As we have done in the past when our opponents have a quality player that is tearing us apart we again called for Ryan Miller to put on a hard tag and win the ball for us.  Immediately his dominance stopped and 22 had little to no effect for the remainder of the game.

At the long break we still felt our skills were much better than theirs and in the second half we would play much cleaner smarter football and that’s how it panned out.  We moved the ball with better quality kicks and decision making, kept possession and didn’t panic.  With players now gaining confidence we started to switch and look down the lanes.

Our senior experience started to shine and with Castersen , Allen, Warren, Johnson, McDonald and Heuston dominating their own contests it allowed others to receive the ball and use it wisely.

With Carro working hard most of the game we needed to give him a rest and J Stamma was thrown into ruck duties, with his willingness to put body on in the middle we lost nothing and we had plenty of opportunities to go forward.  With Patto presenting well, we still made it hard for him but it was great to see him kicking a few and we look forward to a big bag next week.

Winning after a dry spell is always a great feeling and we sung the song loud.  It was pleasing in the second half of the game and momentum must be gained and carried into our next match and beyond if we are to make our mark on finals footy.

U19’s Match Report: Boronia v Warrandyte

Round 16 saw us venture out to Warrandyte on a cool, but clear morning – perfect conditions for footy!  The group was clear about the task at hand and were prepared for a strong hit out.  We got off to a slow start with Warrandyte’s midfield getting the early upper hand.  They managed to get the first few scores on the board, but lucky for us, they didn’t convert after four attempts.  We worked hard and Ben Anderson did a mountain of work as the ruckman to support deep in defence.  After struggling to effectively move the ball forward, we started to find some run and hit the scoreboard with our first major.  The key forwards, led by Fletcher Duke, Will Morrison, Luke Slater and Josh Baker, looked dangerous and we just needed to find a way to win the ball through the middle so we could utilise them more.  We managed to add a couple of more late goals and at quarter time, the margin was 17 points in our favour.

The message at quarter time was to tighten up our defensive game and to take control of the tempo and ball use.  Unfortunately, we started to get ahead of ourselves and Warrandyte began to show us up in all those areas.  Both sides put on two more goals for the quarter, although the opposition certainly looked like they could have narrowed the gap more with their forward 50 entries.  We began to lack our natural discipline, as we started complaining about factors other than our performance.  Half time saw the margin remain similar to quarter time as it stood at 18 points.

Some firm and clear words were provided at half time to assist us to reflect and change our approach.  The third quarter started with Warrandyte once again coming out on fire, booting two early goals and bringing the margin back to under 10 points.  Without panic, we made a few positional changes to establish more balance and pegged back those goals.  However, the opposition were certainly impressive and reduced the margin at 3 quarter time to 14 points.

Coming home with a slight breeze meant that we had to utilise the advantage to expand the lead, rather than simply trying to defend the 14 point advantage.  We found more balance throughout the middle with Jack, Will and Junior all exerting their dominance.  Add to that the run from Ryan and Cambo on the wing, plus Harry and Jake, and we now had a more free flowing game.  Warrandyte ran out of legs and we managed to expand our lead.  Whilst not our best performance, we got the job done by 44 points and will use this wake up call to take on an in form Chirnside Park.

Netball Match Reports: Three Wins!

HAWKS: Boronia Hawks 43 def Blackburn Red 39 (Emily Barrie 31, Mandy Bell 12)

It’s fair to say we went into tonight’s game a little weary and expecting the worst. Six of our usual players and fill ins were unavailable, leaving us short.
Lucky for us Sarah was able to fill in giving us a full team with no subs.

I’d say it was a fairly even and competitive game tonight against Blackburn.  We managed to get a pretty good lead by half time, our biggest margin being 10 goals.  Our third quarter was less dominant and Blackburn snuck up on us to bring the score back to even. At one stage they even managed to get a 2 goal lead.
Our defence end was on fire tonight. I can not praise Madison Barrie enough for her fantastic efforts, she was definitely a stand out performer for us.  Her hard work and pressure ultimately won us the game.  The combination of Madison and Sarah Alexander in defence was fantastic tonight, both girls put constant pressure on the Blackburn goalers and got countless turnovers. T onight was the first time these girls have played together, but they looked like seasoned experts in the ring.  Even the coach from the opposition had praise for our defence end! Well done girls.

Mandy and Emily were also a great combination for us in goals.  Emily Barrie is always a reliable and constantly good player but tonight she stepped it up even more.  Emily had no intentions of letting us lose, her aggressive and competitive side came out and she played some of her best netball for the season scoring 31 out of the 43 goals.  Mandy Bell (normally in the defence end) showed her versatility in GA.  Mandy is super athletic and is a player we can play anywhere and know she will always preform at her best.  Ellie Ingwersen’s passing into the ring was fantastic, as were her drives down the court.  Ellie manages to settle the play at times when we get a little rushed.  She’s very good at seeing a sneaky pass into a goalers in the ring.  Ally Victoria’s fitness never lets us down, running 3/4 of the game in centre and Carla Alexander was a great support for the defence end.

It’s hard to choose my best tonight as everyone really had to step up and play their best netball and everyone deserves a mention, however Madison totally killed it tonight, great game Mads!   We fought hard all the way to the end and took the win 43-39.  1 hour games with no fresh legs at Premier League level is hard work and it was a late game, not finishing until 10:30pm. It was a great game to watch, you girls had me on the edge of my seat. Happy to see you take the win, proving we are a top performing Premier League team.   Let’s beat Scoresby Swoopers next week to finish the season 3rd.

GOLD:  Boronia Gold 40 def Ringwood Black 22 (Jess Hall 23, Sarah Grigg 15, Casey Hahn 2).

This week we celebrated Casey Hahn’s 60th game with Boronia. Congratulations Casey on such an achievement.

We went into this weeks game thinking it would be a harder game than we’ve had and the first quarter definitely reflected that with us only up by 2 goals.
Second quarter showed a very different game with Janae, Inga and Ti dominating in defence with Ringwood only managing 2 goals.  We took the lead by 9.
In the last 1/2 Ringwood only scored 5 goals a quarter to our 10.  Great shooting again by Jess and Sarah.  Our whole team is playing so well together, bring on finals!

BROWN: Boronia Brown 31 def Belgrave South 11 (Dani Kemp 25, Sherridan Martin 6)

Going into the last round of the season before finals, sitting on top of the ladder and we took on the bottom of the ladder Belgrave South.  We had 6 of our original team with one fill in, so no bench or coach!

It wasn’t the most skilful of games but it certainly gave our legs a good run, with Dani’s shooting accuracy giving us a healthy 10-15 point lead and us maintaining that during the game, it left us room to move with a few sloppy plays and give the mid court a bit of a rest!  It was nice to play a clean, fair game, with Belgrave South not playing in normal positions, and giving us a chance play a few of our game plans.  With Alex’s go go gadget arms, Chelsea’s fierce attack on the ball and Loz and Jess’ running, it made it easy for us to get the ball down and feed some long lobs across to Dani.  A huge thank you to Jess for trekking to Dandenong on a Friday night to fill in – we will see you for 2019 registration!!  Now it’s on to our finals campaign, firstly taking on Upper Gully on Friday night who are currently sitting second.

Round 16 Seniors Match Report: Hawks v Bloods

Round 16:  The Hawker vs Warrandyte (The Bloods) and a late change to the Hawker side would see Buzz rested and the opportunity for Dylan Dower to play his first senior game after a stellar year in the Development Squad.

A very interesting first quarter as the Bloods took the early ascendancy and kicked the first 2 goals of the day.  They spread well off halfback, worked the ball long into their forward line. The Hawker looked pedestrian as they lamented between first and second gear.  It’s not that the Hawker played bad or didn’t create scoring opportunities: they just didn’t play with the intensity needed at senior footy.  This lead the Hawker to be beaten around the ground and were trailing on the scoreboard by 9 points at quarter time.  Both sides lost players to shoulder / collar bone injuries to reduce the bench to 3 players.  We wish Zac Dower a speedy recovery as he has made an outstanding start to his senior career.

The first bounce of second quarter you could see a lift in the Hawker.  The midfield lead by the Skip LMc and fed by Hendo & Steeley went up a couple of gears to dominate the midfield contest.  The Bloods were not resting on their first quarter heroics and still cracked in.  The Hawker had the answers to the aggression, spread and running game they play so well on their home deck to allow the Hawker forwards to put scoreboard pressure on their opponents.  The Hawker took a 6 point lead into the long break kicking 3 goals 4 to 1 goal 1 to the Bloods.

The 3rd quarter saw the Hawker bench reduced further with only 2 fit players available for rotations.  Kicking against a slight breeze the Hawker wanted to, and did, make a statement to put the Bloods under pressure in what they call the premiership quarter.  The backline controlled the Bloods forwards in conjunction with the Hawker dominance in the ruck to give the midfield first use to feed the Robbo & Robbo Show up forward.  The Hawker outscored the opposition 6 goals to 1 to take a 37-point lead at 3/4 quarter time and to come home with the breeze in the last.

The last quarter was all about the Big Dog “Robbo Senior” as he put on a football clinic.  Robbo was moved deep into the forward line after a couple of injuries and said to his team mates “this is my back yard, just get out of my way”!  Robbo’s marking has always been a feature of his game but he has added roving skills to his resume, kicking 2 goals by scouting the ball off the pack.  Add another 2 goals he kicked from contested marks and he had a fair day by kicking 7 goals straight, along with 15 scoring involvements. The Hawker’s day started slow but once the engine room stepped up its intensity out of the middle it laid a pathway for the Hawker to play team footy & win the contest by 66 points,

Special mention to Andy, Godders, Hammer, Rappa & Brayden Bowes who put the foot down when needed to stamp their class on the contest.

Five Points:

  • Drop off the intensity against any side you will pay the price.
  • 7 majors to the Big Dog.
  • Andy kicks another beauty from pocket in the 3rd.
  • Great to see Dylan Dower crack in for his first game.
  • Second half dominance to build towards the finals.

Netball Match Reports for Round 13

Boronia HAWKS v Norwood Black

I’m going to be a harsh coach and say that this week we did not play our cleanest netball.  We were driving long and behind and had way too many unforced errors; we were working harder in attack to get the ball to goals than usual.

At half time I gave the girls a brutally honest ‘kick up the butt’ and told them to pick up their game; which they did.

Our defence end were our savours this week.  Kasey Lee came to our rescue to fill in last minute and had an absolutely fantastic game in WD. Nat Craven and Madison Barrie were a great combination in defence against very physical goalers. Kasey, Nat and Maddy all played ripper games this week, gaining many turn overs for Hawks.  A much better second half saw us take a convincing win 60-38, but maybe we should have won by more given Norwood are sitting bottom of the ladder.  2 games to go!

Boronia Hawks 60 d Norwood Black 38  Goals:  J.Rush 44, M. Hutton 10, S. Philp 6, E. Ingwersen, C. Alexander, E. Barrie, M. Barrie, A. Forrest, N. Craven.

Boronia GOLD v Scoresby Soarers

I thought last week was a good win but this week was even better.  Scoresby was strong in the first 1/4 and it was goal for goal.  We were in front by a couple of goals at the end of the quarter and I thought it was going to be a fight to stay in front.  We made a couple of changes and it just worked.  Defence was tight and made it hard work for their goalers as they often only had one goaler in the ring.  In the last half Sarah was on fire in goals, making great position and hardly missing a shot with 25 goals.

Everyone played an awesome game.  Well done again!

Boronia Gold 57 d Scoresby Soarers 29  Goals: S. Grigg 25, J. Hall 24, C. Hahn 6, C. Barnard 2,  D. Reynolds, I. Baselier, T. Parker, J. Griffin, S. Shillingford.

Boronia BROWN v FTG White

A feisty and tough game for the Boronia Brown girls this week. This season we have come up against some strong and more physical teams, but this week was unlike any other.  What we demonstrated was not only our strength on the court, but our mental strength and maturity. From the start of the game we fought hard to keep the scores as level as possible.

Courtney and Alex in defence held each other up during the game, literally speaking.  Not only are Alex’s arms long, but when her full body weight is being held up by Courtney to allow her reach even longer, this makes an unbeatable force!  A huge thank you to Naomi for filling in, her young legs were able to hold through the C for us whilst Lauren was away for the week.

Mollie, Sherridan and Amanda worked hard around the circles and bringing the ball down the court.  With control, strength and good choices of play they did not need to tire themselves out by trying to play rushed as the opposition.  Caitlin and Dani were very accurate and excelled under pressure, a confident goaler is key to success in the season and more importantly leading into finals.

In the last few minutes of the game we were down by 1 goal.  With 1 and a half minutes to go, we won a turnover which resulted in a goal to make us even.  Luckily after this goal it was then our centre pass to have us in the lead. In this time of nerves and pressure we were able to be calm, centred and take our time to ensure this centre pass resulted in us being in the lead. We scored the goal with no problems.  This left 30-40 seconds on the scoreboard with a Ferntree Gully centre.  A moment of calmness hit Mollie (WA) who turns to Caitlin (GA) and says ‘you know what, after this whole game I would actually be happy with draw’. But boy was she wrong.

Our hands on and screening pressure became too much for the GS on the opposition.  The win by 1 point as the GS missed the goal in the final remaining seconds and for Alex to have the rebound was so much sweeter than any draw could ever be.  Amazing game by the Boronia Brown team, a great reminder of sportsmanship, determination, and overall joy for the game. #getaroundthebrown

Round 15 Under 19’s Match Report: Boronia v FTG

This week, we played Ferntree Gully who haven’t recorded as many wins as they probably would have liked.  Either way, our team was out for redemption from our previous week’s loss.

The game started strong with a couple of fluent clearances and shots on goal.  We emphasised the need to find our key forwards and looked dangerous when we did, especially with Bakes powering out of the forward line.  Our mids got on top early with Jake, Harry, Trent and Hoff finding plenty of it.  After being freed up from Saturday detention, Benny Anderson had a big role to play in the ruck all day, coming up against two taller players.  He immediately made an impact around the ground with various intercept marks.  Although we got a little lazy with our entries and subsequently kicked a few too many behinds, our impact on the game was significant at quarter time.

Ferntree Gully had the wind in the second and they managed to get some score on the board.  Our backmen were keeping tight though and some excellent rebounding from Brody, Will, Sturds, Dos and Lee allowed us to move the ball into the wind with effective run and carry.  Some quick switching to our runners, such as Cambo, Ryan and Johnny allowed our entries to improve. The half time break came around with a promising lead, although we weren’t completely.satisfied that we’d found our best footy yet.

The third quarter provided a few players with new opportunities, such as Milky moving into the middle.  His work around the contest was sensational, particularly with selfless acts to support his teammates.  The likes of Lukey Slater, Connor, Tuna and Jacko started to really impact the game, as did Under 17 fill ins, Kyle Schmidtke and Heath Rouse.  Despite Ferntree Gully remaining strong, we opened up the gap to a healthy lead at 3 quarter time.

The fourth quarter saw some gutsy efforts and a bit of physicality.  We remained disciplined though and moved the ball well.  Ferntree Gully added a few more goals to their tally, but we ensured that we balanced it out with a few of our own.  A very satisfying win and a basis for our next couple of weeks.

Seniors Match Report for Round 15: Boronia v FTG

We hosted Ferntree Gully Eagles Football Club on Saturday, who 12 months ago gave the Hawker a football lesson on our home deck for the first 3 quarters until the Hawker over ran them in the last.  With finals like weather, could the Hawker build on last week’s form?

Great conditions greeted the players at the start of the first quarter.  The Hawker were first out of the blocks with Buzz kicking 3 goals in the first 15 minutes.  Zac Robbo added another with a talented kick over his head while on the ground.  Big Robbo and Josh Hannon added to the Hawker total.  We had good players all over the ground, with consistent ball movement while kicking with a slight breeze.  The backline, in conjunction with the midfield, kept the Eagles to one goal kicked on the quarter time siren.  The Hawker took a handy 34 point lead into the 1stbreak.

The second quarter was much like the first with the Hawker putting strong forward pressure on the Eagles backline.  This was enforced at the 7 minute mark by young Chinny’s chase and tackle having an Eagles player caught holding the ball in the scoreboard end forward pocket.  The resulting free kick put through for a skilful goal to reward Chinny for the fantastic run and pressure.  Zac Robbo kicked another 2 goals and The Lake Show ran down from full back not just once but twice to mark and kick truly to add to the Eagles woes.  The quarter was finished off by a late goal to Josh Hannon for his second of the day to give the Hawker a 64 point lead over the Eagles at the main break.

Into the 3rd quarter and the question was: will the Hawker relax or will they keep the pressure on the Eagles?  It wasn’t long until we found out as Buzz slotted his fourth for the day 90 seconds into the 3rd, followed by Josh Hannon who kicked his 3rdgoal.  Big Robbo and Hendo chimed in for goals to extend the Hawkers’ lead to 91 points.  The Hawker had winners in every position and transitioned the ball between the arcs with skill and team work.

At the start of the last quarter the Hawker were down a few numbers on the bench with a couple of players rested.  It would be a gruelling last 25 minutes for a couple of players who would have to run out the quarter without a rotation.  The Eagles came out hard and were showing strong commitment at the contest but the Hawker were up to the challenge to control the last quarter.  Full credit to the Eagles who out scored the Hawker in the last but the damage was done and the Hawker ran out victors by 78 points.

Five Points

  • Finals weather and team footy on display.
  • Ruthers did not miss a beat on Saturday after missing most of the season.
  • 3 strong consistent quarters of footy.
  • Greyhounds Chin and Phillips very impressive.
  • The Buzz (nothing else to say).
