Alan Tudge MP

Many thanks once again to Alan Tudge, the Federal Member for Aston, who has been a great supporter of Boronia Hawks Football Netball Club over many years.  Despite his busy schedule, Alan often attends our Club functions and is always a welcome guest.

We are particularly grateful to Alan for his support to the Club in encouraging our application to the Australian Sports Commission for a major infrastructure grant for the supply and installation of new sporting lights at Tormore Reserve.  As the Club’s female football program expands, the availability of lights will allow the Club more flexibility in scheduling matches,

Alan was elected to the Federal Parliament in the seat of Aston in Melbourne’s outer east in 2010 and again in 2013, 2016 and 2019.

He was appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister following the 2013 election and has held several ministerial portfolios since early 2016.  He is currently a member of the Federal Cabinet in his role as Minister for Cities, Urban Infrastructure and Population.
